Jassy city celebrations

The City Celebrations are cultural and artistic events happening around the day of Saint Parascheva. They are happening between October the 6th and October the 30th. Like every year, Jassy celebrations will bring together famous artists from both Romania and Moldova, but also tourists and pilgrims from all over the country. The events will include concerts by well appreciated artists like Carla’s Dreams, Inna and folk groups. Along with the religious celebrations brought along by Saint Parascheva, the spiritual patron of Jassy, whose holy relics are at the Metropolitan Cathedral, Jassy City Celebrations will bring to the center of the city a traditional arts and crafts market, as well as chess, football and basketball competitions. There will also be music and dancing. Similar shows will also take place in the main city neighborhoods: Alexandru, Nicolina, Tatarasi, Pacurari. At the Municipal Public Pool, tourists may visit a carnival where no one will be bored.
